Product Description

Following Epsons lead with the Ecotank series, Canon embraced the CIS style of ink supply, with their own G series Megatanks but, like Epson they forgot about the waste ink.

The Printer Potty Solo-G4 has been developed to provide a fully supported end-user solution that will help deal with the 5B00 error for G4000 series printers and make it easier to deal with the waste ink and keep your Megatank printing for a lot longer.

 

Design Features:

  • Multi-part waste tube extension for connection to the internal waste tubes
  • Extra parts to help make the installation secure
  • Tank valve closes automatically when disconnecting from the waste tube
  • A tight liquid proof seal around the fitting stops any leakage
  • Simple to install, easy to maintain.
  • Tanks are all re-usable after emptying
  • Instructions for clear/reset waste counter and 5B00 error (WICReset key is no longer required)

 

 

Instructions & Support

We have provided detailed videos that cover installation on the Canon G4511 model plus a separate guide for resetting/clearing the waste counter.

The process does require a small hole to be made in the printer case to allow the waste ink tube to be extended out of the printer and connect to the external waste ink tank. So some additional tools are required but nothing beyond the normal household toolkit.
