The issue described below has since been resolved but we're leaving this description of the problem for customers who visited previously, experienced the issue and would appreciate some re-assurance and/or explanation of the problem.

We've just been informed that Google Chrome users are receiving a warning (see below) when clicking on any part of the site that requires a secure connection (ie: https://www.octoink.co.uk/ )
NET: ERR_CERT_VALIDITY_TOO_LONG
When you click on the "Advanced" link (see image above) you will be given more information which indicates that our SSL certificate issuer is currently issuing secure certificates (the bit that makes communications secure) with expiry dates that are too far in the future.
If you want to learn more about what this is all about you're welcome to review the resources a google search pulls up
This issue only affects Google Chrome browser users and does not affect other browsers such as Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari.
We are working to get the issue resolved by getting the certificate reissued with a date within the required 39 month expiry point.
Despite the warning, you ARE safe to click the "Advanced" link and then "Proceed to www.octoink.co.uk" and continue using the site.
Your communication is still secure and, no, there are no attackers trying to steal your information, etc...
We have contacted our secure certificate provider to get the issue resolved as quickly as we can and expect the warning to disappear as soon as they get back to us.
You can imagine we're not overly happy about this but the joys of internet security, computer and gremlins abound... We've learned you can scream, shout and curse or take deep breaths and quietly work to resolve the issue. Door number two please Bob...
