We're well aware that ocassionally expats return from overseas, come over to the UK to study or just buy a Canon inkjet printer in the USA and end up bringing their trusty Canon printer back Europe with them only to discover the horrible truth about incompatible cartridges.

Until now the only option has been to try resetting the chips using the appropriate REdSETTER although that wasn't always are reliable as we'd like so we finally snapped up a supply of Empty Canon cartridges from North America and they're now available on the store.

The cartridge types are:

• PGI-220BK
• CLI-221BK / Y / C / M / GY
• PGI-225BK
• CLI-226BK / Y / C / M / GY

We're not stocking loads of these and we wouldn't recommend purchasing them from us if you're in the US or Canada as they're really intended as a quick fix for those who've landed in the UK and Europe and realised they are stuck.
