It would require a miracle for anyone to miss the recent EU referendum held here in the UK and regardless of the way the vote went we wanted to clarify a few things with respect to OctoInkjet, our products and services.

First, we have always been and remain a company that welcomes customers from anywhere in the world. With a committment to provide multi-currency payment options, support in multiple language (albeit through Google Translate) and our shipping options, we have supplied customers in almost every corner of the globe be they in Germany, Australia, Kenya, Pakistan or Reunion.

Our committment to our customers, regardless of geographical or geopolitical circumstances has not and will not change.

However it is obvious that we do have to make some changes and naturally pricing is a big part of this. As many of our suppliers are outside the UK, the negative effects of currency rate changes significantly increase our costs when resupplying our raw materials and inks from manufacturers. UK suppliers will undoubtedly follow suit as the same effects start to kick in for them.

We are looking at ways to offset these changes as much as possible but until the situation regarding the EU and the UK is properly clarified and then stabilised it will remain an interesting challenge.
