New Printer Potty Waste Kits

Posted on 28th Jan 2016 @ 9:43:58 PM

Following a period where we focused, naturally enough, on the new family member and keeping our heads above water, we've been making a considerable push on our Printer Potty line of waste kits and are happy to announce a new series of printers that we will be adding to over the coming weeks.

Epson SureColor SCP600 (also known as the P600)

This printer has been quite popular lately as many of our existing and new customers have been upgrading from earlier R2880, R2400 and similar printers. The P600 is covered by our existing Duo-Max waste kit (also used for the R3000) and all documentation now covers both models.

Epson Ecotank L1300, ET14000 and the L1800

These high cost printers were released with the same achilles heel as their predecesor Photo 1500W and B1100 models so it made sense for us to investigate the new designs to help remove the pads as a life limiting issue. These printers have now been extensively documented and a new Printer Potty kit in the guise of the Solo-ZL has been developed to provide a simple installation that should keep these printers running for as long as possible, making them a much better investment and even more environmentally friendly.

Epson Ecotank ET2500 and ET2550

This printer caught us by surprise due to some key design decisions made by Epson engineers. As a result the instructions and waste kit (SoloLX2) for this printer have incorporated in a lot more vital information and also required the inclusion of two carefully selected tools to make the installation as painless as anyone could. This is probably one of the few kits we would consider as worth installing as soon as it's lifted out the of box.

More development is intended over February and March and while our initial emphasis is on Epson inkjet printers we have begun work on other brands of printer. Expect a lot of new developments over the next two months some of which we know have been waiting years for proper attention.
