New videos & resources - Jan 2015

Posted on 21st Jan 2015 @ 12:29:00 AM

Since late September 2014 we've been hard at work with a new team to improve our workflow and free up time to develop new resources including videos and other guides that make it easier to understand, use or troubleshoot our products.

While it's still early days we've recently added two new guides that will make the following processes a lot easier to handle.

  1. Identifying vent and fill holes/plugs on Epson compatible refillable cartridges
This just helps remove some of the confusion over which plug/hole does what and ensure refillable cartridge users know which plug they need to remove or replace for filling, storage or cartridge use.

  2. First fill (Priming) routine for Canon compatible PGI-550 and CLI-551 refillable cartridges
As the title suggests, this guide shows how to successfully complete the all important first fill of the CLI-551 and PGI-550 cartridges. Getting this right saves a lot of head scatching and frustration later.

  3. Fixing an error lights issue with the Epson P50 (and related models)
Helps resolve an error issue that may look like a service required or general error issue at first glance but is actually caused by a little sensor switch

More videos and guides are now being edited from footage shot over the past 6 months so we'll be announcing more guides and resources over the coming months and look forward to expanding our knowledge base considerably.
