When does the status of an order change?

The status system on OctoInkjet depends on two things…

The first is the payment system which creates and updates the status of an order automatically depending on whether a payment was successful or requires some manual intervention to confirm payment clearance. (eg: Electronic transfer, potential fraud flagged transactions, etc).

The second part is purely manual and is usually handled as follows:

Awaiting Fulfilment
The order is waiting to be picked and packed

Awaiting Shipment
The order has been picked, packed and is ready to be shipped/posted

Shipped
The order is on its way

Partially Shipped
This is rare but usually part of your order requires more information or is being sent separately for some reason. This status always involves communication to let you know what is going on.

We never update an orders status until the process indicated has been successfully completed so you will never see a “Shipped” until after the item has actually been shipped/posted.
