OctoInkjet offers a number of shipping options to almost anywhere in the world but we are aware that, in some instances, items can be lost or damaged in transit.
If you choose a tracked service such as Airsure, Special Delivery, Parcelforce24/48, etc.. then your item will be covered against any loss or damage allowing us to verify any reported problems such as package loss.
Items that use an untracked service such as Airmail (not signed for), 1st class (unrecorded), etc... will not be covered beyond the standard cover available for these items. In addition any claim or replacement will need to wait until we can make the appropriate claim.
As a result you are advised to carefully consider which mode of delivery you feel appropriate before ordering.
OctoInkjet will endeavour to help all customers in case of problems but you must use a trackable service for anything over £35 in value.
Any items that are lost in the post will be replaced automatically if the item was sent using a trackable service and has been lost in the system.
Any items sent using an untracked service will require an additional payment to make up the difference in postage for a tracked service. If you wish to receive a full refund under these circumstances this will be granted after 30 days have passed to allow for any items to be returned or confirmed as lost. Please note that as a result, future orders may require a tracked shipping service or be declined. This is solely to ensure that there are no additional losses for the customer or for OctoInkjet.
If for any reason your order is returned for any of the following reasons:
...your order will incur a re-sending fee to the value of the original postage cost if you require it to be re-sent.
Any refund requests will be honoured up to the cost of the goods, but no refund will be made on postage & packing costs.
In some instances we may be unable to ship/deliver particular items using your chosen method for security, safety or similar reasons. If this is the case we will inform you as quickly as possible and refund your payment if a suitable compromise cannot be found.
Our experience in shipping items within North America, Europe and the UK has been very positive to date so any problems will, hopefully, remain rare.
