We recently received an update for the WICReset utility used to reset waste ink counters. As is usually the case with new releases/updates, there have been reports from some end-users worried about the warnings given by one or two anti-virus scanners including Norton 360, Windows Defender, etc... 

To help answer any concerns and questions we've updated our information on the Printer Potty site to explain what's happening and why you needn't be concerned:

As part of the process we would appreciate anyone receiving these warnings to check the last link above and send us the requested information so we can submit requests to the relevant software developers to have their detection settings adjusted to correctly identify the utility versions are safe.
