When you’re trying to use an AdjProg type utility that requires a date change to function you may find that Windows 7 is “helpfully” restoring the date/time and causing the utility to fail.
This article provides an explanation on how you can disable this function so the date/time will remain as set.
Obviously, once you have completed the reset you should reverse the changes so your date/time information is returned to normal.
