This product helps prepare plastic surfaces for any bonding/glue work by removing any residue (eg: skin oils, ink, etc..). As a result wiping down a surface with these pads ensures it is clean and able to bond to it's full strength.

It is particularly useful in applications where ink is intended to flow near any form of bonded parts as ink does have a very real ability to seek out any weaknesses and create a leak.
