We have now updated our product offerings for the Canon Pro-100/Pro-100S printers.

Since October of 2017 we have been testing a new supply of inks for the CLI-42 cartridge type. Samples of these new inks have been out with a select group of customers who've been throwing all sorts of prints and adhoc tests at the inks and the results have convinced us it's time to make these generally available as the recommended ink set from here on.

The key improvements for the inks are:

• Fade resistance: Massive difference here with direct sunlight having no visible effect over 2 months of British weather (which admittedly isn't overly sunny).
• Vivid colours: Our testers have noted more vivid colours on these inks. These may require some profiling as they can be slightly too powerful in some instances but still packing a wow factor.

These inks available in 50ml and 125ml volumes. We will continue to offer discounts at the 250ml volume level but physically ship two bottles instead of the single PET non-SquEasyFill type.

Note: We are getting some formalised testing of the fade resistance done over time and will also decide if custom profiles for specific media are necessary at a later date.

CLI-42 Version 1 ink availability

We will be discounting our remaining ink stocks once the new version inks are fully stocked. There are no specific plans to cease sale of the first ink set but other factors relating to manufacturer availability, may force our hand. Obviously, we will announce any changes with as much warning as possible.
