Since the the beginning of 2017 we have been trialling new shipping services, and even fulfillment options, particularly with regard to the US and Europe.

As a result we're now able to roll out some at least one change with another pending for EU customers.

USA

Our UPS/USPS service has shown itself to be very reliable, with orders taking an average of 6 working days from ordering to delivery. The shipping is now handled through a New York distribution point which speeds things up overall but due to the cost/benefit balance, means that orders take a little longer to dispatch. Accepting a delayed dispatch to get a quicker delivery seems counter intuitive but it works.

This service is generally reserved for lighter (Less than 1Kg) orders with a small box size so mostly this benefits customers purchasing waste ink kit, small ink volumes and the like.

Europe

We have been testing TNT for European deliveries in the past 6 months but due to some very unfortunate problems (caused by ransomware and poor IT security at TNT) there's been some delays that have stopped us integrating the pricing system.

That said it has given us more time to evaluate the company, and deliveries to date have been very fast to Europe making them an great alternative to Royal Mail Tracked & Signed, particularly for orders over 2Kg which have been prohibitive in cost.

So, once the technical issues have been ironed out, we're looking forward to adding this to our shipping options.

Other...

We are still considering other services, particularly for countries that have more problems with reliable, fast delivery so we're keeping our eyes open.
