New Premises, Getting Organised [Updated]

Just to provide an update on progress. We have finally completed the move out of the old workspace and are now working to complete the setup of the new space.

The process is all taking longer than expected but is progressing as we slowly unpack, re-organise and remove packaging from the area. 

In terms of successes, we're now able to ship most orders and our computer/phone systems allow for support emails/calls to be responded to much quicker.

There are some hurdles to overcome however and primary among those are getting some items manufactured and new ink stocks rebottled and available for sale. These areas are going to require a few days before we'll be sufficiently organised to start building again.

Certain product stocks are running low so we're sorting out orders for those in the next few days and work will continue to move things up into the office and get worktop areas, tools, etc... back in operation as quickly as possible.

 

 

Original Update: 27th May 2017

As anyone who has been checking the site over the last 2 weeks will know, we recently grasped an opportunity to move to new premises that help us expand our workspace and provide much needed areas for producing videos, product photos and testing. This has caused some pretty substantial disruption due to the sheer amount of stock, tools, printers and storage racking that needed to be moved.

The good news is that we now have an operational base for dispatching orders and almost all products can now be picked and dispatched.

That said we still have a substantial amount of work to complete before the new premises are ready and we're back at full capacity.

 

This does mean that some areas are still going to be affected while we get everything done.

  1. Phone and email support are likely to be delayed while we finish setting up the office spaces and computer systems
  2. Custom orders are going to require a delay of around a week while we finish setting up the manufacturing areas

 

While we expect the bulk of our operation to be back up and running again before the end of May we have a number of new areas to fit out with workbench, networking and power so some areas of our business are going to be affected until those are ready. However, once everything is ready the new facilities will provide the space and opportunity to improve research, testing and resources signficantly.

Our postal address will be changing but for now we're maintaining a virtual address at Century Business Centre while we organise alternative arrangements for receiving post.

Our new new address will be published once we're setup, although customers will be encouraged to call and arrange an appointment if they wish to visit.

Our new premises does not include reception facilities. As a result. we will be unable to provide collections without prior arrangement.
