Our store system requires a valid phone number when placing an order but we've found that Paypal Express in particular side-steps this due to its programming so we have recently taken steps to close this loophole.

Our primary motivation for this change is to ensure we can avoid delays to shipments sent by Fedex, UPS, DPD and also to avoid the number of inactive email accounts that some people still use for their Paypal account.

To reiterate and to reassure those who worry about how it might be used...

This information is required for the following situations only:

• Courier contact (Fedex, UPS, etc...) to assist with successful delivery
• Resolve problems in fulfilling, delivering any orders
• Provide support in relation to feedback, reported problems where email address information has failed/bounced
• Inform customers of any security issues relating to their OctoInkjet and/or email account or similar

The information will NEVER be used in any of the following situations:

• No cold calling
• No sales calls unless specifically requested by the individual customer
• No marketing, research or similar
• No third party, partner or similar
