Over the Christmas period we planned for a reduced staffing level as there was quite a bit to do and various families visiting, children to look after, etc... but thanks to our team we were actually able to get orders shipped far quicker, and on days we hadn't expected to, so a huge thank-you to Sharon who put in a huge extra effort to get things shifted more frequently than we'd hoped.
Just to clarify a few things...
As always, there have been some hiccups and problems to correct so we're working through those as a priority with some lessons to apply, particularly with regard to last-shipping dates.
As the entire team are family orientated with small children of our own, this is the time of year when we and many of the services we rely on, take time off and recharge with family and friends. As a result, OctoInkjet will not be open to ship/support orders at various points over the Christmas and New Year period.
The following is all you need to know about dispatch dates, support options and timescales during December and early January.
Digital copies of WICReset key information are sent once payment has cleared (usually immediately) and are unaffected by workshop closure. Please note that support is limited as per details below. WICReset key information is also dispatched as a physical item so that will be delayed as per Physical Goods below.
Order Dispatch/Shipping is affected as follows:
The amount of closure and shipping delay is exacerbated by the way bank holidays and key days have fallen on weekends this year so we're limited by how sevices like Royal Mail, etc.. will not be collecting or processing orders even if we could get them ready.
Please note the following shipping options/services will also be restricted between 21st - 30th Dec':
Support during the period December 21st to January 2nd will be reduced and while we do try to respond to questions and support requests over any holiday period, there are obviously certain days/times when picking up a computer to answer an email would result in dire and unpleasant consequences (for us!). So please be patient, enjoy your holidays and time with loved ones and be sure we will respond as soon as we're able.
It goes without saying that we're grateful to our customers continued patronage over 2015. We hope you will have a suitably happy break over the Christmas period and enjoy a bit of time to relax ready for the New Year when we look forward to returning with our top-quality service and products.
