Following the development of our improved Canon Pixma Pro-10 ink set we are now happy to note that the inks are available for purchase at a considerable discount while we rework our documentation and related resources.

The key points to note about this new product release are:

• Ink sets and refill bundles are now in stock and on sale

• Starter / Budget Refill Kit

• Standard Volume (125ml x 10)
• Low/Small Volume (50ml x 10)
  
  
• A "Gloss Enhanced" Photo Black ink option is offered as a seperate item for customers using Pro-Platinum and Plus Glossy II media from Canon
• Profiling for specific media types is planned over late May, through June 2016 and will be available in our KB/FAQ section here

Pricing

It's important to note that costs for the component inks has increased considerably and while we are retaining current prices for a time, we are anticipating an increase of around 10-15% in the future. Similarly the pending EU referendum may also cause some pricing fluctuation due to exchange rates and how that will affect the prices we pay our US and EU suppliers.

Short version: Purchasing sooner rather than later is recommended.

Future Development

Beyond creating media specific profiles we are also looking at use of protective coatings and other ways to improve the printed results using our new inks.

Customer Submitted Profiles

Because of the sheer number of papers and other coated media we obviously can't cover the full spectrum available but we'd welcome suggestions and profiles from customers who would like to see their own specific paper/media fully supported.
