Christmas/New Year Holiday Info' for 2014/15

To allow all of us to have a breather, spend some time with family and generally unwind OctoInkjet will be closing down for a few days over the Christmas period so here's what you need to know about dispatch dates, support options and timescales during December and early January.

 

Order Shipping/Dispatch

WICReset keys are now dispatched as physical items but the service also includes a digital copy (sent by email)
Digital copies are sent once payment has cleared (usually immediately) and are unaffected by workshop closure although support is limited as per dates/times shown below.

Specific information on last ordering dates to ensure timely dispatch for Christmas is available in this news item.

Order Dispatch/Shipping will be affected as follows:

  • Mon' 22nd Dec' [before 14:00] : All orders processed and dispatched 14:50 22/12/14
  • Tues' 23rd - 28th Dec' : Office/Workshop Closed
  • Mon' 29th Dec' : All orders processed and dispatched (Day earlier than planned)
  • Tues' 30th Dec' : All orders processed and dispatched
  • Weds' 31st Dec' [before 12:00] : All orders process and dispatched
  • Thurs 1st Jan' - Office/Workshop Closed
  • Fri 2nd Jan' - Office/Workshop Closed
  • Mon' 5th Jan' - Normal Service resumes

In most cases the postal system is not collecting, sorting and/or delivering items during the bulk of this period so orders are unlikely to be overly delayed by our closure.

 

Shipping Service/Collection Restrictions

Please note the following shipping options/services will also be restricted between 22nd Dec' and 5th Jan':

  • Fedex services now available again
  • Collection option will not be available locally
  • Special Delivery, Global Tracked and/or Global Signed services will not be time-guaranteed (eg: Special Delivery Next Day)

 

Support Availability

Support during this period will be similarly reduced and while we do try to respond to questions and support requests over the holiday period there are obviously certain days/times when picking up a computer to answer an email would result in dire and unpleasant consequences (for us!). So please be patient, enjoy your holidays and time with loved ones and be sure we will respond as soon as we're able.

Support requests and pre-sales queries have largely been resolved (as at 31st Dec @ 12:30GMT).
