For anyone who has wondered about the quiet removal of the Pro-10 inks, here's an update and explanation.

As we originally noted, we wanted to test the inks to be sure they would be appropriate, compatible and of the quality someone spending £500+ on the printer would want.

Unfortunately our testing indicated a number of concerns regarding the colour reproduction that meant returning to the manufacturer to have them addressed. We're aware that folk are very keen to have these inks, start saving money, etc... but we're leaning on getting the resulting inks 100% right rather than rushing in and ignoring the greater need which is a quality result.

These things take time and, with it being summer, are complicated by pre-planned holidays, so we don't have an ETA as yet. We'll post more when we have it.

it's disappointing but as always we'd rather lay it out instead of spin a load of marketing bull.
