I'm writing this article in response to a bit of feedback on this article:

How do I reset the HP88 Auto Reset Chip (ARC)

Unlike the HP88 (or other earlier Officejet cartridges where Auto Reset Chips are widely available) the chips on the HP 364 and 564 cartridges are not currently compatible with Auto Reset Chips although third party single use chips are now available.

So for now, the answer to the article question is a simple "No, you can't reset them".

I will update if/when the situation changes.
